The end of 2019 was very busy. In November I went on a short cruise with my friends Tod and Betsy to the Bahamas. Much to my disappointment, the waters were too rough to get to Key West. We went to Cococay Island instead, which is owned by Royal Caribbean. Several of our side trips like the glass bottom boat were also canceled. The island was extremely crowded this time of year. The weather was gorgeous and I got some sun. Honestly, I enjoyed the Alaskan and Canadian cruise more.
I went to St. Charles, MO with my sister and her family for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. I had a great time at my “home away from home.” However, Sita stayed with friends and was sick, which worried me a lot. I have decided to suspend all travel. She is old and tired and wants to have me. She has become clingy and I need to be here for her. She has faithfully served me for many years and now it is my turn to serve her!
This also is a great time to continue on my book. I am editing, editing, editing. I love Grammarly!
I have started the new year on a high note. Cure Today picked one of my articles as the top 10 for the year in 2019! I am humbled and pleased. You can find the link below.
Healthwise – I am still receiving the Zarxio shots to keep my white blood count up and for the new chemo for MDS Luspatercept to come out. The FDA has approved it for the spring. Of course, all cancer survivors know the fatigue, needing a lot of sleep and the aching of the muscles is always there, but I consider myself lucky to be alive!
I hope all is going well for all of my social media friends. Have a healthy and happy 2020!
Love from Jane and Sita
