I would like to share this story. I love to write but am terrible in art and this opinion was enhanced by an art teacher in elementary school telling me that I had absolutely no talent! when the foundation asked me to do some artwork. I balked but they really begged. I decided to try it. when the color pencils arrived I had no idea what to do but it was in the fall and I decided to draw a tree of hope as a result of the article I wrote “A Comparison of Autumn and Cancer

I was not overwhelmed with the tree but did send it in. Two weeks ago I received this book with all of the artwork. Then – I was proud that I attempted to do something I was afraid to do and that is what counts!
